This weekend, it's festivals galore on Long Island, many of which are featured on our September Go List. Check out the East Northport Annual Festival, the Grande Festa Italiana, and the Fiddle And Folk Fest. Theatre Three in Port Jefferson has a spellbinding evening on tap as The Amazing Kreskin hits the stage. In the mood for one last dose of summer fun? Then head out to the East End and check out the Shelter Island Beach Blast. As always, check our events calendar every day for fun activities for the family.

East Northport Annual Festival - East Northport
This three day festival at John Walsh Park is hosted by the East Northport Chamber of Commerce. Featuring magic shows, sidewalk sales, exhibits, craft vendors, a petting zoo, bicycle stunt shows, amusement rides and games, live entertainment, and street performers.

Grande Festa Italiana - Port Washington
Get a taste of Italy at this four day festival, which is the largest of its kind on Long Island. At North Hempstead Beach Park enjoy fireworks, a pasta making demo, live music, a gambling tent, rides, games, and Italian food.

Annual Oktoberfest - Riverhead
Martha Clara Vineyards is the place to be for this weekend festival, which is now in its twelfth year. Enjoy authentic German food, beverages, and live music.

Fall Harvest Festival - Mattituck
Head over to Harbes Farm and enjoy this weekend festival, which celebrates all things fall. Enjoy the Barnyard Adventure, singing hay rides, wine tastings, live music, scarecrow relay races, pumpkin bowling, border collie demonstrations, corn cannons, a pumpkin pinata, and a hot potato toss.

Shelter Island Beach Blast - Shelter Island
Get one last dose of summer at this 28th annual festival at Wades Beach. Enjoy live performances by Alfredo Merat & Europa, New Dawn, Goat on a Boat Puppet Theater, Mamalee Rose & Friend, Gene Casey & The Lone Sharks, Star Light Girls, Hoo Doo Loungers, and The Realm.

Saturday, September 7

Fall Harvest Day - Water Mill
Ride the hay wagon around Seven Acres Orchard and go apple picking. Check out the 3-acre corn maze, climb and play on the wood sculptures, and pick a bouquet of sunflowers and cosmos.

The Amazing Kreskin - Port Jefferson
This performance at Theatre Three mixes comedy with some good old fashioned mind reading. To add to the intrigue, learn about the spirits that haunt Port Jefferson.

North Fork Foodie Tour - Cutchogue
Pickup a map at the Peconic Land Trust Agricultural Center at Charnews Farm and tour the North Fork. Meet the people who produce local food and wine and learn how they do it. Tour stops include Charnews Farm, Koppert Cress, Croteaux Vineyard & Farmhouse Cooking School, Lavender By The Bay, Taste Of The North Fork, Sang Lee Farms, Shinn Estate Vineyards, Satur Farms, and Catapano Dairy Farm.

Fiddle And Folk Fest - East Setauket
Benner’s Farm hosts this festival, which features live performances by The Stray Birds, Brother Sun, and Toby Walker, along with opportunities to meet the musicians after the show. Bring along instruments from home and partake in a jam session, or test out vocal skills and join a sing-along. Activities for kids include stories and music. Contra dancing with live music and a caller rounds out the festivities.

Celebrate The New Year At Family Playtime - East Hills
Just in time for Rosh Hashanah. At the Sid Jacobson JCC, bake challah, make crafts, and celebrate the New Year with other families.
