Spring is nearly here, and family vacation discounts are blooming. Jet Blue is flying kids to Disneyland and Walt Disney World for free.  It is not too late to ski in the Catskills, catch spring training in Arizona, see the cherry blossoms in Washington, D.C. or head to the beach in Cape May. If your family enjoys train rides, the Downeaster is free for kids on Sundays, and will take you on a scenic journey from Boston to Maine.  If you are seeking warm weather, Bermuda, Riviera Nayarit in Mexico and Naples, Florida are a few destinations that are offering good deals.  If you have luck on your side, you might win a trip for two to Peru.

Kids Flay and Stay Free at Disneyland and Walt Disney World

Bermuda

You can get to this island nation in just under two hours from many East Coast cities.  Its pink sand beaches, snorkeling, fishing, golf and tennis options make it a terrific choice for a family getaway.  The Bermuda Department of Tourism is offering a Free Night Offer at over a dozen properties.  Some properties require you to stay for five nights, but many only require a three night stay for you to snag a fourth night free.  You need to book by March 15 and the deal is valid until March 31, 2013.

Riviera Nayarit, Mexico

Amtrak Downeaster Train

Boston families looking for a car-free day or weekend trip should consider riding the Downeaster from Boston’s North Station to Maine.  The train goes all the way to Brunswick, but it makes 9 stops along the way, including Freeport, home to the iconic L.L. Ski the Catskills
