Paumanauke Pow-Wow Native American Festival - Babylon. Featuring Aztec dancers, traditional dancers, traditional drums, native food, dance competitions and vendors.

Build a Bug House - Port Jefferson. At the Maritime Explorium, design and build a bug house to help the environment and the bees using natural materials.

Cinderella's Glass Slipper - Smithtown. Performed by professional actors, this show will be running on Saturdays and Sundays through Aug. 23.

Boatbuilders and Boatyards of Long Island - Riverhead. A celebration of Long Island's tradition of boat building.

Mommy & Me Painting Class (Fabulous Flamingo) - Bellmore. Moms and tots can paint a canvas together at As You Wish.

Jack and the Beanstalk - Port Jefferson. Live show at Theatre Three.

Storytme: If You Ever Want to Bring an Alligator to School, Don't! - East Northport. A book reading at Barnes & Noble. Free.

The Joshua Show - Sag Harbor. Live puppet show at Goat on a Boat.

Mashomack Preserve Book in the Woods - Shelter Island. Hike and enjoy a book reading at the preserve.

Sensory Garden Sundays - Oyster Bay. At Planting Fields Arboretum, children will have the opportunity to see, taste, touch, smell and listen to the wonders of the sensory garden. Free.

Summer Sundays - Brookhaven. At Brookhaven National Lab, tour the world-class facilities, attend an array of dynamic science talks and participate in special activities each week on Sundays in the summer. Free.

Polo in the Park - Bethpage. Take in a polo match and some family fun at Bethpage State Park.

Sunday Kids Clubs - East Hampton. Visit Hampton Kids for a mini camp on Sundays. Snacks, arts, lunch, games and bouncy houses.

Family Sundays at the Museum - Roslyn. Families can attend a day of festivities and activities at the Nassau County Museum of Art.

Seatuck Family Nature Club - Islip. These programs will be geared around the current season and include topics such as seasonal birds, tremendous trees and signs of the season. Free.
