Weekend Fun for LI Kids: Superhero Day, Cinderella, Tulip Festival, May Day May 2-3
This weekend is all about getting outside and enjoying the season. Celebrate spring at Benner's Farm's May Day Festival, or take in the beautiful blooms at the annual Tulip Festival in Huntington. If you've got a wannabe Superman or Wonder Woman at home, head over to the Whaling Museum's National Superhero Day Celebration! to meet fictional and real-life heroes, and make themed crafts.

Family Hike - Amagansett. Join the South Fork Natural History Museum for a three-mile family hike at Stony Hill Preserve.
National Superhero Day Celebration! - Cold Spring Harbor. At The Whaling Museum, make your own Ocean Hero craft, meet some superheroes, face painting, firefighters and police meetings.
The Littlest Pirate - Port Jefferson. Live theater production at Theatre Three.

May Day Festival - East Setauket. At Benner's Farm, families can enjoy dancing, food and fun.
Meet Cinderella - Wantagh. Decorate a glass slipper keepsake photo, and get a sparkle blue mani, enchanting makeup and tattoo at Divas N Dolls. Bagels and drinks included.
Town of Huntington Tulip Festival - Huntington. The festival will have children’s activity booths, an art exhibit and live performances on the Chapin Rainbow stage, presented courtesy of the Huntington Arts Council. Free.
Family Sundays at the Museum - Roslyn. Families can attend a day of festivities and activities at the Nassau County Museum of Art.
Seatuck Family Nature Club - Islip. These programs will be geared around the current season and include topics such as seasonal birds, tremendous trees and signs of the season. Free
