This weekend, four food inspired festivals take center stage. Head over to the Garden of Eve Organic Farm for the Long Island Garlic Festival, which is now in its 10th year. In the mood for some Mediterranean food? Then check out the Greek Festival at the St. Paraskevi Greek Orthodox Church. Take a trip to the East End and feast on fresh seafood at the Greenport Maritime Festival. Embrace the late summer harvest of corn, beans, and squash at the Celebration Of The Three Sisters at Sylvester Manor. In the mood to do some shopping? Help save the planet and stock up on clothing, toys, and books at the Chicken Kidz Consignment Event. For a completely different change of pace, take a trip into Manhattan and set sail with the Mommy Poppins gang at the NY Harbor Ecology & Science Cruise. Annual Greenport Maritime Festival - Greenport
Now in its 24th year, this three day festival takes place in locations throughout Greenport. Featuring visits by the Tall Ships, nautical arts and crafts, classic wooden boats, live music, pirate shows, local produce and seafood, fireworks, and tours of the Bug Light Lighthouse.

Annual Long Island Garlic Festival - Riverhead
It’s all about garlic at this 10th annual festival at the Garden of Eve Organic Farm and Market. Enjoy live music, garlic foods, several varieties of garlic to eat and plant, farm animals, hay rides, and fiber arts.

Annual Bellmore Family Street Festival - Bellmore 
The streets of Bellmore near the Long Island Railroad Station come alive in this annual festival. Featuring a kids expo, craft expo with over 120 vendors, home improvement vendors, sports expo, carnival rides, military displays, and health and wellness information.

Greek Festival - Greenlawn
Enjoy all things Greek at this annual festival at St. Paraskevi Greek Orthodox Church, which boasts rides, games, music, Greek food, and a farmer's market.

Chicken Kidz Consignment Event - Riverhead
Help save the planet by buying gently used items for kids at discount prices. Head to Riverhead Polish Hall for this event, which boasts over 15,000 items including clothing, toys, books, strollers, highchairs, furniture, bicycles, and maternity wear.

Celebration Of The Three Sisters - Shelter Island
At Sylvester Manor, celebrate the harvest of the Three Sisters (corn, beans, and squash). Members of the Shinnecock community honor the harvest through cooking demonstrations, song, and dance.

Sea Ink: Tattoos And Other Shipboard Arts - Cold Spring Harbor
At The Whaling Museum and Education Center of Cold Spring Harbor, celebrate the significance of nautical tattoos and its seafaring origins. While there, check out the tattoos on display and vote for favorites, listen to live music from rockabilly band, The Buzzards, and get free airbrush tattoos.
