For 2024, treat mom and the family to a delicious Mother's Day brunch at one of these Long Island restaurant locations. You can sip a mimosa or bloody mary, enjoy a scrumptious meal, and, best of all, avoid clean-up duty.

Some of these spots offer more than just a meal, with free entertainment and activities for the whole family, and it's wise to call ahead for reservations.

Best Mother's Day Brunch Restaurants in Nassau County

1. The Coral House – Baldwin

In addition to a beautiful Mother's Day brunch buffet spread, The Coral House is also offering a dinner buffet. Brunch seating is from 11am-2pm, while dinner is from 3pm-6pm. Children under 2 eat for FREE. Reservations are required.

2. Garden City Hotel – Garden City

This classic Garden City setting offers a legendary Sunday Brunch. The Mother's Day brunch menu includes made-to-order omelets and carved meats along with fresh fruit, cheese platters, salads, muffins, pastries, and other desserts. Reservations can be made through OpenTable or by calling the restaurant. 

3. The Library Café – Farmingdale

You'll be treated to a fairytale Mother's Day brunch at this Farmingdale spot. Food choices include French toast stuffed with NY cheesecake, eggs Benedict, home fries, and a decadent dessert assortment. Seatings are at 10am, !0:30am, 12pm, 12:30pm and 2pm. Reservations required.

4. Milleridge Inn – Jericho

This year only the cottage will be serving Mother's Day brunch at the Milleridge Inn. Brunch buffet specialties will be available from 10am-2:30pm.  Reservations are required.

5. Morning Rose Cafe – Bellmore

Gourmet breakfast is served all day, and lunch service begins at 11am. Outdoor patio seating is available if the weather cooperates. Notable menu items include cinnamon bun pancakes, banana bread, French toast, and breakfast waffle sliders. This restaurant does not do reservations but has call-ahead seating.

6. Thyme Restaurant – Roslyn

Baskets of tasty breakfast pastries are served with typical brunch entrees at this beautiful restaurant overlooking the pond in Roslyn. Children's menu options include challah French toast, pasta, and chicken fingers. Craft brunch cocktails are available in addition to bloody marys, Bellinis, mimosas, and orange juice.

7. Novita – Garden City

In addition to this popular trattoria’s regular menu, the brunch menu features two courses and unlimited mimosas. The restaurant's regular dinner menu, as well as a gluten-free menu, is available on Mother's Day.

8. Twisted Fork Brunch Company - Bellmore

Brunch is in the name, so you know they take it seriously. This restaurant serves traditional brunch favorites with a twist. Try the French toast fondue, which features French toast, berries, and chocolate ganache. The cocktail menu includes Bailey's hot chocolate, mimosa flights, various martinis, and more.

9. Burgerology– Farmingdale, Huntington, Patchogue, Stony Brook

Experience the brunch burger: a signature blend patty with a fried egg and Canadian bacon served on a waffle bun. This spot also serves a bacon, egg, and cheese on a pretzel bun, but we recommend subbing it out for the delicious waffle bun. If you're with a group, try a mimosa tower. 

10. Butera's – Bay Shore

Butera's offers Sunday brunch at its Bay Shore location. Menu items include a sausage, pepper, onion, and potato frittata, as well as challah French toast with cannoli cream. Reservations are strongly recommended. 

11. Estia's Little Kitchen – Sag Harbor

Chef Colin Ambrose sources ingredients for his restaurant from local vendors and often uses vegetables from the restaurant's garden. Pancakes are only served until noon, but omelets are served until 2:30pm. 

12. Toast Coffeehouse – Bay Shore, Patchogue, Port Jefferson, Long Beach

This popular restaurant group offers an all-day breakfast/lunch menu with eggs, omelets, breakfast burritos, French toast, pancakes, waffles, and more. Kids get to choose from their own menu.

13. In the Shed Restaurant – Huntington, West Sayville, Plainview

In addition to its all-day brunch offering dishes like biscuit Benedict, breakfast bowls, and egg sandwiches, there’s also a full dinner menu. Enjoy indoor and outdoor dining at all three locations. 

14. Vittorio's Italian Steakhouse – Amityville

Located in the heart of Amityville, Vittorio’s Mother's Day brunch includes traditional breakfast items plus a host of other dishes. Indulge in meatball sliders, lox and latkes, fish tacos, or various specialty sandwiches, including a muffuletta and Reuben.

15. The Waterview – Port Jefferson

The Mother's Day brunch buffet at The Waterview includes an omelet and carving station, salads, and a raw bar with oysters, clams, and shrimp. For dessert, there are assorted pastries, cookies, and an ice cream bar. Advanced reservations are required. Children 4 and under are FREE. 

16. Windows on the Lake – Lake Ronkonkoma

Surrounded by views of Lake Ronkonkoma, this Mother's Day brunch destination boasts a smoked salmon and bagel station, made-to-order omelet station, a kids corner, breakfast and lunch selections, and an international cheese display. Ice carvings make for an over-the-top experience. Enjoy unlimited hot and cold beverages, including mimosas. 

17. Long Island Aquarium — Riverhead

Create treasured memories with a Mother’s Day brunch at the Long Island Aquarium in the spectacular Sea Star Ballroom. Enjoy a brunch with a diverse menu. Save time to visit the animals after brunch.
