Take it easy this Mother's Day weekend with a movie under the stars, including Paw Patrol: The Mighty Movie in Prospect Heights and Remember the Titans in Marcus Garvey Park. Looking for the best things to do in San Francisco and the Bay Area this Mother's Day weekend? Here are some events and activities to add to your list for this weekend.

This weekend is Mother's Day, and what better way to celebrate Mom than with activities and events you can do together? That's what moms really want—time with the kids in their lives! And a nap.

There are many ways to celebrate this weekend, like the Roaring Camp Mother's Day Train ride through the redwoods, followed by a delicious brunch. Or how about salsa dancing and flowers at Union Square in Bloom? That evening, bring a lawn chair (but don't make Mom carry it) to a screening of The Parent Trap at Thrive City.

If mom is into art (and/or FREE fun), we've rounded up several art festivals on Mother's Day weekend in Atlanta -- head out to the Dunwoody Art Festival or Chastain Arts Festival. These beloved Atlanta festivals offer activities for adults (art, shopping, food) and kids (bounce houses, face painting, arts & crafts). Moms with sons can spend some quality time at the Sandy Springs Mother Son Dance, and outdoorsy moms head to the Chatthoochee Nature Center for the annual Mother's Day Family Canoe Trip.
